So charming! Linen damask bath towel from 1920s is embroidered and hemmed by
hand. It has an oval cutout triple monogram, also in white. The embroidered
fancy twist motifs on each initial are Italian needlework.

Condition: excellent. Clean, no stains or yellowing. Ready to use.
This towel and other matching sheets and pillowcases were found together at an
estate sale. They were probably part of a trousseau. The initials in the
monogram could have been the young lady's if she didn't yet know who the groom
would be. Or they could be the initials of the bride and groom on either side
of her new last name.
