I always washed the cotton before I cut it to take care of the shrinkage
problem cotton is famous for. The mitered corners will fit up to a 5" thick
mattress. The sheet is shown on a 4" thick mattress. All the seams are finished
so there are no raw edges. This sheet would be great for a toddler's bed also.
