Offering a vintage pillow or bolster cover pulled from my great aunt's linen
storage.
It has no odors, major stains or broken threads. There is a very light
scratch-like mark which I think may have come from a pen but am not sure. I
have shown it in the last photo.
This pillow cover is a long plain piece of thick cotton that measures 40" X
17.5" Attached around three sides is a 5" deep trim of hand crocheted lace,
also in white, which extends the cover to 45" X 22.5".
From what I was told, this sort of cover was made to lay over a bed pillow to
keep it fresh looking or after you'd lain on the bed pillow for a nap and
wrinkled it.
